Soulshine At Sea 3 Music Cruise Officially Canceled Amid Artist Withdrawals and Controversy

Soulshine At Sea 3, Michael Franti’s unique music cruise festival scheduled for November 4–8, 2025, from Miami to Cozumel, has been officially canceled after multiple artists pulled out. The withdrawals came in response to serious allegations linked to one of the performers on the lineup, leading to a domino effect that left organizers no choice but to call off the event.

Notable acts including Dispatch, Maggie Rose, Hirie, and Liz Vice publicly announced their withdrawal over concerns regarding the allegations. Dispatch stated they made the difficult decision to exit after becoming aware of “deeply concerning public allegations” involving another artist on the schedule.

Festival promoter Sixthman conveyed the cancellation officially and is working on announcing a new event for the same dates. They reassured ticket holders that options will be offered, including full refunds or credits toward future Sixthman events.

Michael Franti addressed the situation candidly, admitting to a past extramarital relationship with a touring artist involved, and apologized publicly for the hurt caused. Despite the festival’s cancellation, no alternate dates or rescheduling have been announced for Soulshine At Sea 3.

Fans who had anticipated setting sail with this soulful music gathering will now need to find new plans for November. Stay tuned to Extra Chill Festival Wire for updates on any future developments from Sixthman and related festival news.
