Fuji Rock Festival has dropped its first 2026 lineup, and it’s a gorgeous, globe-trotting mix of indie, rock, electronica and Japanese favorites. The three headliners are The xx (Fri, July 24), Khruangbin (Sat, July 25) and Massive Attack (Sun, July 26) — with a long list of notable names across the weekend including Asian Kung‑Fu Generation, Hi‑Standard, Turnstile, Arlo Parks, Hyukoh, Lettuce, Altin Gün, Snail Mail, Mitski, Mogwai and never young beach.
Venue: Naeba Ski Resort (Fuji Rock’s classic mountain setting). Dates shown on the poster are July 24–26, 2026. Like always, the festival mixes international acts with a healthy dose of Japanese talent — a great place to discover bands you won’t hear everywhere else.

Travel & camping notes from the community:
- Fuji Rock is a camping festival at a ski resort in the mountains — cooler nights are normal, so bring a jacket or fleece.
- Facilities are reportedly well kept and camping is quieter than you might expect; rain is common, but the festival handles it well.
- Budget ballpark: Redditors put the bare minimum around $700 USD (if you bring all your own gear), more realistically $900–$1,200+ if you need to rent equipment or factor in extra travel costs.
- There’s a friendly community vibe — people organize pre-festival dinners and meetups, which is a great way to find a crew if you’re traveling solo.
This is the first announcement — the poster also notes “and more artists to be announced,” so expect additional names before tickets go on sale (or in later lineup drops). If you’re a festival traveler who likes good food, solid facilities, and a chance to find Japanese acts you won’t see elsewhere, Fuji Rock is worth penciling in.
We’ll update when full schedules and ticket details are released.
