Chalk Dinosaur dropped a pro-shot full-set video from their Halloween night gig at Cervantes Ballroom in Denver (10/31/25). The two-piece opened for Eggy at a sold-out, ~900-capacity show — and the band says Denver remains their strongest market.
The footage was shot and edited by Orris Productions, a Denver-based crew the band has worked with before. In the post, the drummer admits he played a bit conservative knowing the night was being filmed, but the performance still earned plenty of praise from fans who were at the show.
Highlights from the Reddit thread:
- “More live Chalk Dinosaur!!!” — eltonjohndenvernugs
- “The drum pad bass solo at this show blew my minddddd” — sesquipedalian22
- “I came away from this set just blown away by the Dino.” — chekmarks
- “Will be seeing you guys at Resonate and the whole crew is stoked.” — thebuzzedgardener
Nick (the band) also mentions they might be leaning into festival appearances this year and could be doing fewer club dates — so keep an eye out for Chalk Dinosaur on festival bills if you’re trying to catch them live.
