With just 17 days left until the WIRE Festival kicks off at Queens’ Knockdown Center from May 16–18, 2025, fans remain on edge as the official daily schedule has yet to drop. The eagerly awaited lineup timetable continues to be a mystery, prompting playful comparisons on social media to waiting anxiously for a doctor’s verdict on potential schedule conflicts.
Speculation runs hot that the schedule release could hinge on new artist announcements, with some rumors hinting at surprise additions like The Strokes. Meanwhile, confirmed acts include techno and house heavyweights DJ Stingray 313, DVS1, Juliana Huxtable, KI/KI, and Wata Igarashi, alongside curated nights by Berlin’s Pornceptual and Amsterdam’s SPIELRAUM collectives. The outdoor stage will be commandeered by WHOLE Festival for a full Saturday takeover.
Beyond the music, the festival has locked in a Friday panel discussion titled “Electronic Music in America vs. Europe, Part 2” at 6 PM EST, featuring Juliana Huxtable, SPIELRAUM founder Sven Bijma, Paragon founder John Barclay, and Sunday Sunday’s Rafael Ojeda, in collaboration with Resident Advisor.
Ticket-wise, weekend passes are sold out, but individual day and night tickets remain on sale for those keen to catch select parts of the 50-hour, nonstop program spread over four stages.
Stay tuned for the official schedule release and any late-breaking artist drops as the WIRE Festival edges closer to igniting Queens with non-stop beats.
