AmericanaFest 2025 Lineup Dropped: Shires, Carlisle, Randolph Headline in Nashville

AmericanaFest returns to Nashville from September 9-13, 2025, celebrating 25 years as the premier roots music festival in Music City. The sprawling event takes over multiple venues, showcasing over 200 artists with a diverse mix of Americana, rockabilly, blues, and soulful acts.

Headliners Amanda Shires, Willi Carlisle, and gospel steel guitar maestro Robert Randolph lead an all-star lineup. Rockabilly legend Rosie Flores, blues guitarist Buffalo Nichols, and the soulful Mike Farris with The Fortunate Few further enrich the lineup.

The Virginia trio Palmyra will debut their new release on Oh Boy Records, adding fresh sounds to the festival. Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon joins forces with Rogue Oliphant, injecting a unique literary dimension into the event. Alt-rock vibes arrive with 311’s Nick Hexum performing solo, expanding AmericanaFest’s genre reach.

Key moments include the Honors and Awards Ceremony at the iconic Ryman Auditorium on September 10. Opening night presents a compelling choice between Dwight Yoakam at Ascend Amphitheater or The Secret Sisters and Maggie Rose performing with the Nashville Symphony.

Passes are live now—lock in your spot early for this iconic Music City roots music experience. More lineup announcements and surprises are expected as AmericanaFest 2025 approaches. Stay tuned for full details and daily updates on the Festival Wire.
